The main objective of the ICT Work Group is to provide a platform for members that helps to inform about important European Initiatives, Strategies and funding programs related to ICT topics and their regional dimension. This platform is equally meant to create opportunities for interregional cooperation in the ICT area crosscutting with other areas.  

We will invest in links and synergies with other topics and ERRIN WGs. In preparation of the new funding period from 2021 on we will continue dialogue with different DGs to talk about the proposed funding programs Horizon Europe and Digital Europe as well as European initiatives to facilitate the participation of our regional stakeholders.

Smart factories of the future: from industry 4.0 to industry 5.0

The Slovenian Business & Research Association is organising a conference on the meaning and future of smart factories and their benefits to society. The conference will touch upon the role smart factories play in the EU research and innovation agenda. Women & STEM: IWD breakfast discussion

For its annual International Women's Day event, this year the Nordic diplomatic representations and cultural institutes are hosting a breakfast discussion on the subject of women and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).  The discussion will address the problem of a scarcity of women in the STEM fields, ask how to tackle it and bridge collaborations for equality within different areas of STEM.
