Representation of the Free State of Saxony to the European Union with its 4 universities, 5 universities of applied sciences and more than 50 research institutions has a strong tradition, especially in engineering, microelectronics, materials research and resource technologies as well as innovative actors in the growing areas of medical and biotechnologies. International cooperation and sharing of knowledge and resources are seen as crucial to strengthen the excellence and competitiveness of research and innovation and their further development in Saxony.

S3 Forum completed!
The S3 Forum – the first EU-level, in-person gathering on S3 since 2020 – took place on 28-29 November in Barcelona. ERRIN Secretariat joined the event alongside many network members and hundreds of S3 practitioners and experts from across Europe.
