We welcome you to the final Smart Specialisation Working Group Meeting before the summer break! The meeting will take place on 17th June between 14:00-17:00 at the Helsinki EU Office, which has moved and now is located on Rue Guimard 7, 1000 Brussels.  This Working Group meeting will focus on the role of universities and cities in Smart Specialisation.

In the first part of the meeting, representatives from the university side will present and discuss the role of universities in regional innovation ecosystems and in S3. This will be followed by presentations and views on the role of cities in S3 by the Helsinki-Uusimaa Region and one more region. In the second part of the meeting, a representative from the Joint Research Centre will present the indicators on how to measure innovation in universities.
