Experience economy: a personalised and sustainable approach towards cultural heritage

How can we increase the tourism potential of our cultural heritage sites through innovation? How can we achieve that they evoke emotions and offer a personal experience to visitors? How can we ensure that the experience economy, involving the local communities, will offer affordable, inclusive and sustainable services in the medium/long run? Are you interested to brainstorm with us about these questions? Then come along and be part of the discussion that the Tourism Working Group of ERRIN is organising with the support of the Design and Creativity, ICT and Opening Science Working Groups. The workshop fulfils a two-fold objective: promotion and awareness raising by presenting funding opportunities; inspiring good practices for regions on how to boost experience industries as enablers of cultural heritage offers. The event has been awarded the official logo of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018. For succesful and fruitful networking, we would like to bring together a varied audience in terms of stakeholder representation. Therefore, please note that you will receive feed-back from the organisers if your registration is accepted or not. Priority will be given to ERRIN members and/or participants who want to pitch a project idea.
